Bismuth Oxide

Description

Bismuth Oxide Bi₂O₃, is yellow solid powder with melting point of 825°C and purity of 99.9%, 99.99%, 99.999% and 99.9999% (3N 4N 5N 6N), which is insoluble in water and alkali but soluble in acids. Bismuth Oxide Bi₂O₃ exhibits excellent optical and electrical properties such as wide band gap, high refractive index, high dielectric permittivity and high photoconductivity. Bismuth Oxide is used as a yellow pigment in paints and cosmetics, a precursor to the preparation of other compounds of bismuth, and also finds applications in optical glass, flame-retardant paper, electrolyte material for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), photoelectric materials, high temperature superconducting materials, dental materials and bio medical applications, glaze formulations, flux formulations for fire assaying and for the manufacturing of electronic element, varistor and lighting arrester, capacitor etc.

Delivery

Bismuth Oxide Bi₂O₃ or Bismuth Trioxide Bi₂O₃ 3N (99.9%) purity at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation can be delivered in size of D50 ≤1.0 micron, 2-5 micron, or 10-20 micron with bulk density 2.5-4.0 g/cm³, tap density 4.5-6.0 g/cm³ in package of 25kg sealed plastic bag. Bismuth Oxide Bi₂O₃  4N 5N 6N (99.99%, 99.999% and 99.9999%) purity at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation can be delivered in  size of less than 100 mesh ( ≤ 0.15 micron) powder in package of 1kg polyethylene bottle with carton box outside, or as customized specification to the prefect solution.
