Description

High Purity Erbium Oxide Er₂O₃99.5%, 99.9%, 99.99%, a pink powder with body centered cubic and monoclinic structures, melting point 2387°C and density 8.64g/cm³, is insoluble in water but soluble in acid lightly, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air, the magnetic moment of Er₂O₃ is 9.5 M.B. Er₂O₃ should be stored in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse with the container tightly closed to avoid moisture and air exposure. Erbium Oxide Er₂O₃is primarily used as yttrium iron garnet additives, nuclear reactor control materials, and for the manufacture of special luminescent glasses, infrared absorption glasses and glass colorant, and also used as control material of nuclear reactor and optic fiber etc.
