Gadolinium Oxide

Description

High Purity Gadolinium Oxide Gd₂O₃ 99.999%, a white and tasteless powder with melting point 2330°C and density 7.41g/cm³, is insoluble in water and soluble in acid, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air. Gadolinium Oxide Gd₂O₃ should be stored in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse with the container tightly closed and away from moisture and air exposure. Gadolinium Oxide Gd₂O₃ is widely used as yttrium aluminum and yttrium iron garnet additives, sensitized fluorescent materials of medical instruments, neutron absorber materials for nuclear reactor, raw material for gadolinium metal, Gd-Fe alloy, single substrate memory storage and inhibitor. And It also finds application in magnetic refrigerant, x-ray intensifying screen, optical glass and for electronic industry application etc.
