Description

Indium oxide In₂O₃or indium trioxide 99.99%, 99.995%, 99.999% and 99.9999%, a micropowder or nanoparticle light-yellow solid powder, CAS 1312-43-3, density 7.18g/cm³and melting around 2000°C, is a stable ceramic-like material that is insoluble in water, but soluble in hot inorganic acid. Indium Oxide In₂O₃ is a n-type semiconductor function material with smaller resistivity, higher catalytic activity and a wide band gap for optoelectronic applications. Applications

Indium Oxide In₂O₃has a widespread use in photoelectric, gas sensor, thin film infra-red reflectors, catalyst application, specialty glass color additive, alkaline batteries, and high current electrical switches and contacts, protective coating of metallic mirror, and for semiconductor film of electro-optical display etc. In₂O₃ is the main constituent for ITO target for displays, energy efficient windows and photovoltaics.
