Description
High Purity Indium 5N 6N 7N 7N5, is a soft, silvery-white, light blue luster and malleable ductile solid with atom weight 114.818, melting point 156.61°C and density 7.31g/cm3, which is soluble easily in hot concentrated inorganic acid, acetic acid and oxalic acid, and react with the oxygen in the air slowly to form thin layer of oxidation film. High purity indium can be purified to more than 99.999%, 99.9999%, 99.99999%, and 99.999995% in size of bar, ingot , button and crystal by physical-chemical purification of vacuum electrorefining or crystal pulling growth technique etc. High Purity Indium is primarily used in the manufacturing of III-V compound semiconductors indium antimonide InSb, indium arsenide InAs, indium phosphide InP, and indium nitride InN for ultra-high efficiency photovoltaic solar cells, photoconductors, infrared detectors, infrared LEDs, high-speed data lasers, electronic switching applications, high purity alloys, electronic paste, transistor base, ITO powder and target for LCD, as well as the source material for semiconductor epitaxial growth using LPE, CVP and MBE method, and as the dopant of germanium and silicon single crystal growth etc.

Indium Metal 99.995% 4N5 has risen dramatically demand for liquid crystal displays, flat panel and plasma displays, touch screens, low melting point metal alloys, LED light, photovoltaic field, wet glass production and as a coating for bearings or other parts etc.
Indium Foil is available in many sizes in sheet form to be a choice for thermal interface material with some cool characteristics, and also ideal for creating cryogenic vacuum seals, and also used in nuclear reactors to help control the nuclear fission reaction by absorbing some of the neutrons.
Indium Shot or indium ball with tear drop shaped of 1-5mm diameter can be used to prepare melts for casting, extrusion or doping and thermal evaporation coating for its high surface area as compared to ingot.
