Lanthanum Oxide

Description

High Purity Lanthanum Oxide La₂O₃ 99.999%, a white solid rare earth oxides powder with melting point 2217°C and density 6.51g/cm³, is insoluble in water and soluble in acid, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air to become lanthanum carbonate.  Lanthanum Oxide La2O₃ should be in sealed package and  stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from fire, heat source, moisture and separated from oxidizing agents. Lanthanum Oxide La₂O₃ is primarily used in the manufacture of precision optical glass, optical fiber, raw materials of lanthanum boride, petroleum separation and refining catalyst, and for the preparation in the electronics industry as ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramic additives etc.
