Description

Application

Lithium Carbonate is mainly used in the manufacturing of electrolytes such as LiPF₆, LiBF₄ etc for rechargeable lithium ion batteries, lithium metal, lithium compounds, glass, and also finds application in aluminum melting additives, ceramic, tranquilizer of medical industry, food additives, semiconductor industry, atomic energy industry, catalyst etc. Lithium Carbonate Li₂CO₃ 99.99%, 99.999% is a water insoluble lithium source that can be used for the preparation of other lithium compounds by heating or by electrolysis of molten lithium carbonate, such as Lithium Tantalate and Lithium Niobate with excellent electro-optic, voltage, electric and pyroelectric properties, which are important materials for linear and nonlinear optical application.
