High Purity Lutetium Oxide Lu2O3 99.995%, 99.999%, a white powder with melting point 2510°C and density 9.42g/cm3, is insoluble in water, but soluble in acid, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air. Lutetium Oxide Lu2O3 should be kept in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse with the container tightly closed and away from moisture and air. Lutetium Oxide Lu2O3 is widely used in the manufacture of magnetic materials, optical glass, ceramic colorants, laser materials, luminous materials, electronic materials. Lutetium Oxide based transparent ceramic materials play an important role in digital imaging technology system, especially suitable for static digital imaging and fluoroscopy application. Furthermore, Lutetium Oxide is also used as a new and promising polycrystalline laser working medium.
