Yttrium Oxide

Description

High Purity Yttrium Oxide Y₂O₃ 99.995%, 99.999%, a white solid rare earth oxides powder with  melting point 2410°C and density 5.03g/cm³, is insoluble in water and alkali, but soluble in acid, easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air. Yttrium Oxide Y₂O₃ should be stored in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse with the container tightly closed, and away from moisture and air. Yttrium Oxide Y₂O₃ is mainly used in the manufacture of microwave magnetic materials, single crystal, yttrium iron garnet, yttrium aluminum garnet,  as additives for optical glass, ceramic materials, high brightness phosphors for large-screen televisions and picture tube paints. Yttrium Oxide has wide applications in making thin film capacitors and special refractories, light source of infrared spectrometer, lampshade of acetylene and gas lamp, color TV tube fluorescent, zirconia refractory stabilizer, phosphor powder, artificial gemstone, laser crystal, superconducting material, as well as high pressure mercury lamps, computer memory components etc, and also to fine the grain size of tungsten alloy effectively by adding yttrium oxide in sintering process.

High Purity Yttrium Oxide Y₂O₃ 4N5 5N at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation can be delivered with purity of Y₂O₃/REO ≥ 99.995%  or 99.999% and REO ≥ 99.0% in size of powder and package of 10kg or 25kg in vacuum plastic bag with carton box outside, or as customized specification to the prefect solution.
